Using artistic interpretation to visually communicate core themes, this project has been realised as a taonga that honours the work of Pacific academics and the lived experience of countless students and staff. It has been devised as a tangible means to engage, reveal and see thematic ideas and embodied knowledge, offering further reading and inviting deeper enquiry.

Through interpretive illustrations, complex and often charged themes like systemic inequality, colonialism and racism, are presented as windows into worlds, where shared experiences are seen, affirmed and exposed.
To address the needs of Pacific students and staff in higher education, this project offers an opportunity to share insights, broker conversation and deepen understanding. Progress will happen through collaboration, allowing the unseen to be seen.
